Once my game gets going I do plan on moving to something more like the wild, mercurial magic system used in DCC. I do want deadly, mutating, warping sorcery in my game... but I find the system to be a bit too cruchy for me. But I do have a few ideas about how the system could be streamlined for use at the table, i.e. not having to flip back and forth through the core rule book every time a spell is cast.
